We are looking for bids to Design a web application for one of our customers. They are a group of camping villages in Europe. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the time zone where the customers System Administrators are located we would prefer to work with a consultant or consulting company located in the GMT3:00 to 7:00 Time Zone. We need this project completed by December 30th at the latest.System details:The prime requirement of this web application is to allow for the realtime checking of availability of accommodation and for the realtime creation of bookings. This will be achieved by creating an interface between this application and the system that is currently in being use by these camping villages. These two camping villages are currently using a back office system developed to use a DBMaker database.This application requires ASP.NET and C#. amp SQL Server 2000. Orders are taken, credit cards are validated using a third party bank for validation and booking confirmation is emailed to the customer and .to other email addressesThe Project:This system should be made available in the following languages: Italian English German DutchThe main booking engine will be written using ASP.NET. This application will be hosted on a windows machine under IIS. There are seven camping villages in separate cities. The future system will be a distributed system. This system will involve one main web server, and seven ancillary web servers. The main web server will be hosted in one European country by a hosting company there whereas the ancillary web servers will be hosted in the seven camping villages themselvesWe will also need to develop a separate piece of software which will reside on the each of the camping ground web servers. This other piece of software will also be written using ASP.NET, and will be hosted under IIS on a windows machine.We will achieve communication between these two applications either through the use of .NET Remoting or through the use of ASP.NET web services.
