We require an auction based web site to be developed similar to ebay in terms of functionality however we also require chat room web conferencing facilities. The sight must be in English and Japanese and be fully automated with little administration overheads. We will only accept a bid from an experienced team who has previously completed similar style projects that we can evaluate before commence of the project. We will also require help in getting the site up and running with ISP as well as technical support for a period of 6 weeks. We must be completely satisfied (and have tested) the functionality of the auction site and the quality of the web conferencing facilities before payment will be made. Bids under 1500US will treated with preference, as will bidders with a proven track record.
Bid Smart - The lowest bidder doesn't always get chosen, far from it. Persuade your buyer why they should pick you - and they will.
Research - If John has paid more than $500 a contract for his last 10 project, why would you think he is interested in your $10 bid? Check up on the buyer, bid what he expects, and deliver quality to match.
Read - Please read the bid request - I cannot emphasise this enough - if you do not read the bid request then you will not be chosen, this is pretty much certain. Mention the bid request specifically in your application, and don't forget to repeat the key deliverables.
Innovate - Suggest features the bidder didn't mention, talk about future extensions to the project, and discuss whether you think his or her approach is a good idea. Show interest, intellect, and willing.
