We are looking for a web application that we can add to our existing website. What it will entitle is a script that can be inserted into our existing template, that the listners of a radiostation can go to request a song to be played. We would like the dj at the time to be able to have a seperate webpage(like an admin page) open that will refresh about every 30 seconds to display the list of songs reuested. We would also like the number of request to be saved in a databse and the stats to be displayed on the dj page also. For example if a song that was just requested had been requested 10 times today we would like it to be displayed so that it may be added to a most request list on our website. And posibally even a script that we can add to our existing template that will display the top 10 songs of the day.The last part of the application would be a way to dump a database after so many days to keep from cluttering up the server.Probally just have a way to clean the databse or to rewrite the database every night. The databse only needs to be saved daily it can be cleared after every day to avoid having a full database of usless request.
Bid Smart - The lowest bidder doesn't always get chosen, far from it. Persuade your buyer why they should pick you - and they will.
Research - If John has paid more than $500 a contract for his last 10 project, why would you think he is interested in your $10 bid? Check up on the buyer, bid what he expects, and deliver quality to match.
Read - Please read the bid request - I cannot emphasise this enough - if you do not read the bid request then you will not be chosen, this is pretty much certain. Mention the bid request specifically in your application, and don't forget to repeat the key deliverables.
Innovate - Suggest features the bidder didn't mention, talk about future extensions to the project, and discuss whether you think his or her approach is a good idea. Show interest, intellect, and willing.
