I need a VB .Net or VC developer to come up with the following: A an workgroup messaging system like MessagePal (www.messagepal.com). The software should have similar functionalities if not more. The following major functions must be available: 1) Messaging one to one, one to many or one to Group Each user should be able to create groups, name and organize their groups2) Client Server Architecture Server Able to manage users accounts Able to manage user chat history Broadcast messageemail if user account has an email. Client Able to have a few status such as online, offline, away, etc.3) Able to leave offline Message In the case if user went offline, I can still send him message, message will pop up when he is back online4) Retrieve user name and user account from windows 2003 active directory, so the User account only needs to be added into the domain server and the new user can login the messaging system with the same User name and password at any computer. This is useful so that the administrator doesnt need to add user one by one5) Able to keep chat log in server6) Video Conferencing (one to one) using Sorenson or a better compression technology for the video to improve video quality as well as compression for the sound the video and sound codec to be used for this project must be confirmed before coding the module7) Able to see all online Users User doesnt need to add contact for new installations, as all the users available on the Chat Server will be shown8) Sound Alert and pop up when new msg coming in.9) Send and Receive Files (Peer to peer) Using some file compression technique to improve the transfer speed10) Able to support at least 500 concurrent online clients.Deliverables: Complete project source code with proper comments and software manual. Bid Smart - The lowest bidder doesn't always get chosen, far from it. Persuade your buyer why they should pick you - and they will.
Research - If John has paid more than $500 a contract for his last 10 project, why would you think he is interested in your $10 bid? Check up on the buyer, bid what he expects, and deliver quality to match.
Read - Please read the bid request - I cannot emphasise this enough - if you do not read the bid request then you will not be chosen, this is pretty much certain. Mention the bid request specifically in your application, and don't forget to repeat the key deliverables.
Innovate - Suggest features the bidder didn't mention, talk about future extensions to the project, and discuss whether you think his or her approach is a good idea. Show interest, intellect, and willing.
