Hello. My name is Ryan Nuessly. I would like to inquire about a custom script for one of my websites, PostYourMix.com PostYourMix.com is an idea I have for a dj mix post. A place where djs can post a link directly to their mp3 dj mix or a link to a webpage that has the link to their mp3 dj mix for music lovers to download along with a description of their mix. I want Djs to be able to go to my website, fill out a registration form to be able to post on my website that would ask for details such as their dj name, how long theyve been djing, their dj equipment used to make the mixes (computer, vinyl, cds, or a combination), their email address, contact name, and a link to their homepage if they have one. This email form would then be forwarded to my desired email address to verify their info and either accept or deny them a login name and password to be able to login to the dj mix post and post their mp3 dj mix links and details as described in the previous paragraph. When apporved djs have their login info they would be able to post their dj mixes with the following detail optoins. Dj name (I would hope this would be automatically filled in for the djs by the system since they had to log in and may only post a dj mix made by themselvesas their verified dj name)Mp3 mix title (the title they have given to their mix)Mix Genre (Trance, Breakbeat, House, JungleDB, freestyle, other)Mix length. (the length in minutes and seconds of the mp3 mix)Tracklistlink (this is the link directly to the mp3 mix available for download or a webpage that has the mp3 mix to download) I would love for the mix post to be able to track popularity(number of times the download link has been clicked), automatically include the date the mp3 mix was posted, have an edit functoin for the Djs to be able to edit the post if they were to need to change the link or remove it, and a button for the visitors to hit if the link post is a dead link that would send an email to me with the link that is being reported as dead so that i may go and verify the link as dead. As for the music listeners who visit my website and want access to the dj mix post to be able to click on the links posted by the verified djs, I would not require them to fill out any type of verification to access the mix post. I am not looking for this to be eye candy, just functional.I really hope something like this is possible.
